Fung Yiu King Memorial Secondary School Visits the Oki Islands on a School Trip

From April 9th –11th, 2019, the Oki Islands UNESCO Global Geopark welcomed Hong Kong’s Fung Yiu King Memorial Secondary School to our islands.

During their short time here, students trekked down the Shirashima Coast, made Oki Soba Noodles, learned the local Shigesa-bushi folk dance, visited popular geosites, and participated in an exchange activity with Oki High School students. We enjoyed showing our guests around the islands and we hope to continue to build our relationship with Fung Yiu King Memorial Secondary School!
