“Floating Aquarium” Event and Special Exhibition (9-10 June)

Special Event “Floating Aquarium” Announcement
Marine debris are not the only thing floating in the sea. Various creatures such as seaweed and jellyfish can be found floating, too.
Anything that floats will eventually reach somewhere or be eaten by another creature. Through this event and exhibition, you can discover what happens “before and after” the floating.
The sea is very important for human life, but there are also “mysteries” and “problems” floating in it. The same can be said about the sea surrounding the Oki Islands.
Let’s use this opportunity to deepen our understanding of the ocean and consider together the necessity of protecting and preserving the ocean.
This year, in conjunction with World Ocean Day, we will hold the “Floating Aquarium”, an event that calls for action on ocean and climate issues.
Date: June 9 (Friday) 12:00-17:00
    June 10 (Saturday) 10:00-17:00
