Oki Islands Geopark Museum: Grand Reopening

As of April 1st, the Oki Islands Geopark Museum has newly reopened on the second floor of the Oki Islands Geopark Visitor Center in Saigō Port, Dōgo Island!

The museum features new displays and content that provide an overview of the geopark. When combined with on-site experiences of the islands and their scenery and culture, the museum can help you explore the region even more, helping guide you to a deeper understanding and interest in the Oki Islands and the Earth we live on. Geopark staff are available to answer your questions. (*If you want to be guided in English, please contact us beforehand, as English-speaking staff are not always available.)

Next time you visit the islands, stop in and see the museum!
