【Event ended】Call for Participants: Hiking Trail Conservation Maintenance Workshop

The geopark will conduct maintenance of a hiking trail on Mt. Daimanji using a school of thought called the “ecological restoration method,” an idea of protecting human environmental interests by returning the ecosystem to its natural state.

Overview of the Event 

Date and time: December 9, 8:30-16:30 

                            December 10, 8:30-18:00 

Location: Mt. Daimanji 

Meeting place: Minamidani Forest Road (near Chichi-sugi Japanese Cedar) 

Participation fee: JPY 1000 (insurance, paper materials, lunch) *JPY 30 for those not requesting lunch 

Registration: Please register through the Google Form below. (Response necessary for each participant)

What to bring: drink, warm clothing, backpack, working gloves, insurance card, lunch (those not requesting lunch), helmet (if owned)
