【Temporary Exhibit】 The “Gneiss” Rocks of the Oki Islands
A temporary exhibit will be displayed at Okinoshima Library in its exhibition corner!
This exhibit includes gneiss (pronounced “nice”) from the Oki Islands and Hida as well as other rocks from the Oki Islands and information about Oki Islands Geopark.

Exhibition period: June 7 (Sat) –July 30 (Wed)
Open hours: 10:00–18:00
※Closed every Monday and every third Sunday of the month (However, will be open on July 21 (Mon) for National Ocean Day and closed on the following Tuesday, July 22.)
Special gallery talk: July 27 (Sun) 13:00–15:00
Our Bureau’s resident geologist will lead gallery talks.
※Reservation not necessary. Each talk is about 30 minutes in length
