Student Activities through WAIRA ACT, a Club for High School Students
WAIRA ACT is a club for high school students. In the local dialect of Japanese, waira means “we” and ACT is used to mean “taking action.” Combined, the name means “we take action” in English.
It is a new kind of club spanning the local islands, high schools, and school grades to take action. Two years have passed since its formation. Here are a few of the actions that WAIRA ACT has taken during that time.
