From here you can see the famous Rōsoku-jima (Candle Island). However, you can only see the candle become lit from a sightseeing boat, when the setting sun lines up with the island.
Rōsoku-jima is a sea stack, which is land that has become isolated by processes of erosion. Nearby you can also see Umanose-iwa (Horseback Rock) and other strangely-shaped rocks.
