The 3rd ‘Eco-Geo Project’; Marine Debris Cleanup in Jōdogaura Coast

On this particular day, we were blessed with great weather, just as we had planned , and set out to start the beach clean.
We were glad to see that the children were also diligent participants; from the biggest pieces of rubbish to the smallest fragments of plastic, the children diligently tried their best to retrieve every piece of washed-up rubbish and help make the beach spick and span.
Furthermore, thanks to our local residents’ cooperation, we were able to carry out our activities smoothly whilst taking safety into account.

After the beach cleanup was successfully completed, the children celebrated by playing a watermelon-smashing game on the beach. The event was overflowing with smiles and laughter from both adults and children alike!

Overall, this environmental conservation activity turned out to be a great opportunity for us all to deepen our connection to the local area.
