Held on October 19, odd-numbered years, at the grounds of former Nakamura Elementary School (Nakamura area, Okinoshima Town)
This festival is another Intangible Folk Cultural Property designated by Shimane Prefecture. Dedicated statues of the sun deity (yatagarasu crow) and the moon deity (white rabbit) are raised into the air on a pole about 4m long, and they are paraded from their shrine to the site, where a ritual of the harmony of yin-yang and sun-mon is performed. Other rituals, such as omyō-dō, ceremonial sumo, ura-te ceremony, horse racing, Yabusame horseback archery and mikomai dance are also performed.
