Ikkū Shrine Festival

Held on the last Saturday and Sunday of July, even-numbered years at Amasashihiko-no-mikoto Shrine (Ikkū Shrine) (Chibu Village)
The festival is held over the span of two days, and on both days, after Urayasu-no-mai Dance from Dōzen Kagura and Sanbansō dance are performed as an offering, performances and children's kabuki are dedicated at the “playhouse”, which is a Tangible Cultural Property of Chibu Village. On the second day of the festival, after prayers are dedicated at the worship hall, the children's mikoshi and main mikoshi are paraded.
