Nishinoshima Furusato-kan Museum contains exhibitions of folk artifacts such as fishing and farming tools, as well as items excavated from remains. Also on display are materials related to precious living things, including the "Kimura Collection" of speciments collected in the Oki Islands area by the late Kimura Yasunobu.
