Kuroki-gosho Imperial Residence Site and Hekifū-kan Museum

This museum contains exhibitions and materials related to Emperor Go-Daigo, who was exiled to the Oki Islands and spent over a year here before he escaped. The location of the museum, Kuroki-gosho Imperial Residence Site, is said to be where he resided during that time.
*There are two theories about where Emperor Go-Daigo lived: Oki Kokubun-ji Temple on Dōgo Island and Kuroki-gosho Imperial Residence Site on Nishinoshima Island.
